Mr. Francisco Mirto is President and CEO of CVEM Consultoria. Mr. Mirto’s specialty is government affairs, providing insight and advice to companies interested in breaking into the Brazilian market. He has previously served as a member, and then chairman, of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Industries of the Federal District (FIBRA) whose purpose is to promote trade opportunities between Brazil and the US.

Mr. Mirto was also an ad hoc consultant to the National Confederation of Industries (CNI) Council on Infrastructure and the former president of the monthly periodical, “Brazil Business.” He has been chief lobbyist for ANFAVEA, the Brazilian Automotive Manufacturers’ Association, and has also worked for a number of energy-related foreign companies.He’s served in various capacities, as a consultant to the national head quarters of SEBRAE, as a the head of the Hill and Knowlton Law office in Brasilia, and as manager in charge of sales in the Brazilia office of General Motors (GM-Terex).

Mr. Mirto is fluent in both Portuguese and English.
